Nata nelle baracche della Barceloneta nei primi anni ‘50, Antonia Singla nonostante la sordità riuscì a far sua l’arte del flamenco. In poco tempo divenne un fenomeno: già a soli 17 anni fece entusiasmare personalità come Dalì e Jacques Cousteau. La Singla arrivò a esibirsi all’Olympia di Parigi, ma alla fine degli anni ‘70 scomparve dalle scene. Cosa successe? Che ne fu di lei? Il film è un avvincente viaggio nel mistero che circonda il suo meraviglioso talento.

Paloma Zapata, laureata in Belle Arti e con un master in Documentario Creativo, nel 2008 fondò la sua casa di produzione a Barcellona: La Fábrica Naranja. Ha perseguito una carriera come regista, editor e produttrice di video musicali internazionali e documentari musicali.

Born in the slums of Barceloneta in the early 1950s, Antonia Singla, despite her deafness, managed to master the art of flamenco. In a short time she became a phenomenon: at just 17 years old she excited personalities such as Dalí and Jacques Cousteau. Singla even performed at the Olympia in Paris, but at the end of the 1970s she disappeared from the scene. What happened? What became of her? The film is a gripping journey into the mystery surrounding her wonderful talent. 

Paloma Zapata, graduated in Fine Arts and with a master's degree in Creative Documentary, in 2008 she founded her own production company in Barcelona: La Fábrica Naranja. She has pursued a career as a director, editor and producer of international music videos and music documentaries.
