Shahrbanoo (che in persiano significa "Signora della città") è madre di tre figli, condannata all'ergastolo per spaccio di droga. Dopo undici anni di carcere è stata rilasciata per qualche giorno, per partecipare al matrimonio del figlio. Questa libertà temporanea la mette di fronte a un drammatico aspetto della sua vita e di quella della sua famiglia ... 

Maryam Sadat Bahrololumi è nata nel 1985 (Teheran-Iran). Ha una laurea in Arte e ha studiato nel campo del Cinema presso l'Università di Istanbul in Turchia. Ha lavorato come assistente alla regia dal 2005 al 2018. Ora è un membro attivo della Tehran Association of Film Directors dell'Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture Guilds. Ha realizzato alcuni cortometraggi e ha ricevuto un riconoscimento come regista di cortometraggi dal Parlamento di Richmond Hill, Ontario-Canada nel 2014. Patio è il suo primo lungometraggio realizzato nel 2018 come regista, sceneggiatrice e produttrice esecutiva. 

Shahrbanoo (which is a name means "Lady of the City" in Persian language) is a mother of three sons, who has been sentenced to life in prison for drug transferring. After eleven years in jail she was released from the prison, for a few days to attend her son's wedding. This temporary freedom confronts she with a dramatic aspect of her and her family life … 

Maryam Sadat Bahrololumi was born in 1985 (Tehran-Iran).  She has a degree in Art & Studied in the field of Cinema at the Istanbul University of Turkey. She worked as an assistant director from 2005 until 2018. Now she is an active Member of Tehran Association of Film Directors of the Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture Guilds. She made a few short films & received an Appreciation as a Short Filmmaker from Parliament for Richmond Hill, Ontario-Canada on 2014. Patio is the first feature film made by her on 2018 as a Director,  Scriptwriter & Executive Producer.
