L'anno 2023 ha segnato il 50° anniversario della nascita della cultura hip hop e della musica rap negli Stati Uniti. Il film celebra la band che per prima ha registrato un album rap italiano nel 1990, Assalti Frontali, uno dei gruppi più rappresentativi e pionieri del rap politicizzato in Italia. Dopo più di trent'anni il leader della band, Militant A (vero nome Luca Mascini), è sempre lo stesso e si racconta come mai prima, ritraendo la sua parabola umana e artistica, radicata nella storia d'Italia, nel mondo dell'autonomia antagonista e dei movimenti studenteschi, fedele ai suoi ideali, ai suoi sogni, alla voglia irrefrenabile di fare musica e alla volontà di cambiare il mondo. Anche oggi.
Paolo Fazzini, autore televisivo, ha scritto programmi per le principali emittenti italiane (Rai, La7, Mediaset). Ha diretto numerosi documentari tra cui Hanging Shadow – Italian Horror Cinema (2006), All’Assalto - Le Radici del Rap Italiano, mentre il lungometraggio Mad in Italy è il suo esordio nella regia cinematografica (2011).
Francesco Principini è direttore della fotografia e regista di spot pubblicitari, serie tv, film e documentari. Tra i lavori più importanti come direttore della fotografia ricordiamo la serie di 6 episodi girata per Amazon Prime Usa Healthy Long Life, il film Il Giudice e il boss di P. Scimeca, i documentari per National Geographic e per Sky Arte.
2023 marked the 50th anniversary of the birth of hip hop culture and rap music in the United States. The film celebrates the band that first recorded an Italian rap album in 1990, Assalti Frontali, one of the best representative and pioneering groups of politicized rap in Italy. After more than thirty years the band's leader, Militant A (real name Luca Mascini), is still the same and he tells his story as never before, portraying his human and artistic parabola, rooted in the history of Italy, in the world of antagonist autonomy and student movements, faithful to his ideals, dreams, the irrepressible desire to make music and the will to change the world. Even today.
Paolo Fazzini, as a television author, Paolo has written programs for the main Italian broadcasters (Rai, La7, Mediaset). Hhe has directed numerous documentaries including Hang Shadow – Italian Horror Cinema (2006), All'Assalto - Le Radici del Rap Italiano, while the feature film Mad in Italy marks his debut in film direction (2011).
Francesco Principini is a director of photography and a director of commercials, TV series, films and documentaries. Among the most important works as a director of photography we remember the 6-episode series shot for Amazon Prime Usa Healthy Long Life, the film Il Giudice e il boss by P.
